KBM Forestry Consultants Inc. was incorporated in 1973 to provide a variety of forestry services to government, First Nations and forest industry in Northwestern Ontario. The initial focus of the company was on the supply of mechanical site preparation and tree planting services. Forest management in Ontario has changed considerably since those early days and KBM has evolved along with the changes .
KBM has developed a strong forestry consulting presence marked by a “down-to-earth” approach. One of the main strategies used by the consulting division is the formation of consulting teams that incorporate specialists from outside KBM, on an as-required basis. Cooperation with local, regional and national specialists ensures that the unique needs of each client are met.
